Long long time since i last posted a blog post. Been really busy with college and other stuff. Also with twitter, I don’t feel the necessity to ‘blog’. Anyway blogging and twitter are two different things. But when you don’t have time to blog you can always tweet! and get INSTANT replies, comments etc.

Got a long weekend off after a long time and decided to post here and on my photoblog. Nowadays I make sure I check Google reader to stay updated with my friend’s and fav blogs and also tech stuff, this really helps. Also getting more addicted to facebook nowadays. This post is about all the stuff in my head right now and they are all totally random.

Also now I have a faster internet connection, which means watching youtube videos and listening to music online is amazing! really worth. Pandora, AOL and last.fm are really good you can discover so much more and get fresh music according to your taste! my last.fm profile: www.lastfm.com/stephen1985 . check it out!

My Samsung Galaxy Android phone which has been awesome all this while is having some problems now. Especially with the touchscreen. The upper part of the touchscreen has become unresponsive and also sometimes the phone goes haywire! touch at one part and its received at another part! Really a pain. However I am trying to use it even with these problems for a few more days till I am able to get a new phone which should either be an HTC Desire or the Nexus one. Would be really nice if I could get the Nexus one as its a ‘pure’ android phone running the Vanilla Rom. Anyway the HTC desire would be good too! so long as its Android!
Maybe once I get the new phone I’ll be able to blog more as these phones are super fast and sleek compared to my dying Samsung Galaxy. It has really embarassed me in college, especially while sending files via bluetooth (common thing in India) and taking pictures :/

Also been watching a lot of TV shows, HIMYM, Castle, Simpsons, South Park etc really fun! American TV shows are really awesome! seriously!

Anyway will get to my photoblog now to do some updating and I hope to post more often here too!

The Samsung Galaxy and the Nokia N95 8GB both have a 5 Megapixel camera, so i thought of comparing photos taken by the two phones. The Samsung Galaxy doesn’t have any camera settings etc. Take a look at both the photos and comment on which is better.

So which one according to you is better?

Two days back I received the Samsung Galaxy GT i7500 Android phone which is the slimmest android phone.
First impressions was the 3.2” AMOLED screen that has excellent colors quality, the size of the phone and yes I was excited to use the Android OS.

What was disappointing about it was the battery life with the firmware, it sucked :/ lasted about 20 hours on standby with a little usage! I had to upgrade the firmware as the new firmware had a fix for the battery usage etc. Couldn't update it with the PC studio software because the phone was ‘not supported’ :/  But I updated the firmware with Odin. Google for update firmware with odin.

After the upgrade the phone is all good :D battery life has improved a LOT! I like this phone :D
