You might have seen this before where I listed the 10 reasons why I like twitter.. well these are same reasons why they make twitter so special :D

1. I am well informed about everything happening in the world: Whether it is earthquakes, Michael Jackson’s sad death or heavy rain in Mumbai, I come to know all of it before its on any news channels thanks to twitter. Thanks to twitter trending topics and the ‘buzzing now’ column of Twitscoop,news bots, staying well informed is very easy. I know most of the things that happen in my city, product launches,etc.

2. I get links to awesome wallpapers,tips,tricks,software etc.: Thanks to twitter and of course some really nice tweeple, I get links to awesome wallpapers, programs for pc and my Nokia N95 8GB, tips and tricks to improve performance of computers, the way we use computers, etc. etc.

3. I get music recommendations: #musicmonday is a good way to get Music recommendations from some tweeps that have a really good taste of music. Thanks to this I have some really nice tracks in my music library! you can follow some of these awesome tweeple from this list of music recos

4. Really nice people on twitter. :) : Twitter has got me in contact with some really nice twitter buddies! yes many friendly users on twitter who share nice stuff and also reply to your tweets, so I’m never lonely on twitter! thank you all buddies! Here’s a list of some really friendly tweeps

5. Sharing is easy: Sharing stuff on twitter is very easy with tools like twitterfeed.com I can add feeds  of my blog and my Last.fm recently played music and it gets tweeted every time there is an update! So people know what music I’m listening to whenever there is a update on my blog or photo albums etc! also sharing interesting links on the internet, and twitpic has made photo sharing so much better!

6. Getting help and assistance is easy: Getting help on problems related to computers, mobile phones, internet etc. is very easy with so many helpful tweeps and developers on twitter! You can get assistance on solving problems related to your pc etc and also can complain about stuff easily to the developer etc and get quick replies with twitter. Here’s a list of some techies

7. People and friends know what I’m doing: That’s one of the main uses of twitter! :P yeah with twitter my followers know what I’m doing and now my friends also follow my updates on twitter and know what I’m upto! so next time I am ill or I’m going out my friends know it :p

8. Contests:  Many contests on the internet have their links posted on twitter and also you can have chances of winning stuff by tweeting! I won a pair of Creative Ergonomic Headsets in a contest by Mydala.com, an Acer BeTouch E101 phone in a contest by @tatadocomo a Free License for Gravity (awesome twitter client for S60 phones) all with twitter!! and now maybe you can win something with Mydala.com’s latest contest for bloggers!
