Long long time since i last posted a blog post. Been really busy with college and other stuff. Also with twitter, I don’t feel the necessity to ‘blog’. Anyway blogging and twitter are two different things. But when you don’t have time to blog you can always tweet! and get INSTANT replies, comments etc.

Got a long weekend off after a long time and decided to post here and on my photoblog. Nowadays I make sure I check Google reader to stay updated with my friend’s and fav blogs and also tech stuff, this really helps. Also getting more addicted to facebook nowadays. This post is about all the stuff in my head right now and they are all totally random.

Also now I have a faster internet connection, which means watching youtube videos and listening to music online is amazing! really worth. Pandora, AOL and last.fm are really good you can discover so much more and get fresh music according to your taste! my last.fm profile: www.lastfm.com/stephen1985 . check it out!

My Samsung Galaxy Android phone which has been awesome all this while is having some problems now. Especially with the touchscreen. The upper part of the touchscreen has become unresponsive and also sometimes the phone goes haywire! touch at one part and its received at another part! Really a pain. However I am trying to use it even with these problems for a few more days till I am able to get a new phone which should either be an HTC Desire or the Nexus one. Would be really nice if I could get the Nexus one as its a ‘pure’ android phone running the Vanilla Rom. Anyway the HTC desire would be good too! so long as its Android!
Maybe once I get the new phone I’ll be able to blog more as these phones are super fast and sleek compared to my dying Samsung Galaxy. It has really embarassed me in college, especially while sending files via bluetooth (common thing in India) and taking pictures :/

Also been watching a lot of TV shows, HIMYM, Castle, Simpsons, South Park etc really fun! American TV shows are really awesome! seriously!

Anyway will get to my photoblog now to do some updating and I hope to post more often here too!

Finally! its that time of the year! the time I wait for so much! its finally December! I really like the months November and December also January and February, mainly because of the “winter” season lol I know there isn’t any big difference in the weather in Mumbai these days but then I still kinda like these months.. Cool, chilly mornings that make you wanna stay in bed more :D haha reminds me of school days!

December also is a lovely month because of Christmas! I love Christmas! I like playing the Christmas Carols!, then comes shopping and making sweets etc! awesome time!!

Here are 10 reasons why I like twitter :)

1. I am well informed about everything happening in the world: Whether it is earthquakes, Michael Jackson’s sad death or heavy rain in Mumbai, I come to know all of it before its on any news channels thanks to twitter. Thanks to twitter trending topics and the ‘buzzing now’ column of Twitscoop,news bots, staying well informed is very easy. I know most of the things that happen in my city, product launches,etc.  for eg. two days back there was this Red Bull f1 car event in Mumbai and I would have not known it if it was not for twitter..

2. I get links to awesome wallpapers,tips,tricks,software etc.: Thanks to twitter and of course some really nice tweeple, I get links to awesome wallpapers, programs for pc and my Nokia N95 8GB, tips and tricks to improve performance of computers, the way we use computers, etc. etc.

3. I get music recommendations: #musicmonday is a good way to get Music recommendations from some tweeps that have a really good taste of music. Thanks to this I have some really nice tracks in my music library!

4. Really nice people on twitter. :) : Twitter has got me in contact with some really nice twitter buddies! yes many friendly users on twitter who share nice stuff and also reply to your tweets, so I’m never lonely on twitter! thank you all buddies!

5. Sharing is easy: Sharing stuff on twitter is very easy with tools like twitterfeed.com I can add feeds  of my blog and my Last.fm recently played music and it gets tweeted everytime there is an update! So people know what music I’m listening to whenever there is a update on my blog or photo albums etc! also sharing interesting links on the internet, and twitpic has made photo sharing so much better!

6. Getting help and assistance is easy: Getting help on problems related to computers, mobile phones, internet etc. is very easy with so many helpful tweeps and developers on twitter! You can get assistance on solving problems related to your pc etc and also can complain about stuff easily to the developer etc and get quick replies with twitter

7. Jokes, Funny pics and crazy topics: Twitter is a good source for laughter!  jokes, links to funny pics and some crazy trending topics entertain you! :D

8. People and friends know what I’m doing: That’s one of the main uses of twitter! :P yeah with twitter my followers know what I’m doing and now my friends also follow my updates on twitter and know what I’m upto! so next time I am ill or I’m going out my friends know it :p

9. Contests:  Many contests on the internet have their links posted on twitter and also you can have chances of winning stuff by tweeting! I won a Free License for Gravity (awesome twitter client for S60 phones) by tweeting certain stuff! maybe you can win something bigger?

10. Updating facebook status via twitter: Updating facebook is easy with twitter. With Selective twitter status app on facebook, you can send your twitter updates to facebook.
